Constrictive pericarditis is a relatively rare clinical manifestation nowadays. We present the case of an HIV-positive patient with constrictive calcified pericarditis due to an infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pericardectomie was performed. The therapeutical approach is discussed and the literature is reviewed.
